Au Revoir - Keys Of Misery

Au Revoir - Keys Of Misery
Jan 2009
Faithcraft Production

First time i heard about this band when i buy Empayar Zine. I dont remember which issue hell fuck i dont care about that. I think, this band has nothing special about it. Well, BIG MISTAKE. I buy their EP "Su'ul Khatimah" and i made a hideous mistake for ignoring this band. Yeah, fool me. Silly me. So, i order through Raimi Barbarosa and yeah i finally kiss, lick and chew this album. At that time, i really DON'T KNOW who really him! Hahaha!! Oh yeah, at least, i know him THROUGH Au Revoir, not Blackfire or The Ravens hahaha! Okay, enough bullshit, you piece of shit! Hahaha! Au Revoir are one-man-band, manage to create such a great album, directly on his taste of music.

Okay, this band actually experimenting with hard rock, thrash metal, death metal, some punk feel and many more of genre. Yeah... I play the CD and it just blow me away! Just listen to "The Knife", a dark, horror, sweet romantic childplay. A catchy song, good for introduction of the album. Heavy Metal/Hard Rock i can say. Slash! Slash! And make sure your girlfriend die from your Knife! From this song, i made a wonderful philosophy "3 MINUTE AFTER DESPAIR IS HAPPINESS"

"Your Psycho Charmer" with such an intro and brilliant lyrics. A twisted unrequited love with isolated mind. Here, love become something very dangerous! Not very slow, yet enjoyable song. You can feel weird emotion from the author. The heart of this album. My favorite track!

Then "Devotion" a very sad song. Well-crafted riff and lyrics. With the description in the inlay, you will understand what is the meaning of losing someone that close to you. His devotion, his reason to face the future without someone precious to him. Makes me sit at the corner and hugging myself.

"Make Her Suffer" feed our imagination with brilliant color of your beloved woman. Obsessive-madly enjoying someone's suffering, what a wicked man you are! A thrashy feel with MOTORHEAD influence! Inspired by many serial killer, Au Revoir play music honestly!

"Bleedjob" are evil-raw song. Inspired by serial killer, Bathory and Motorhead. Well, not my favorite track but this is the true color of Au Revoir!

"Satanist" are not so satanist at all. All-out thrash/speed metal with anger and vengeance. Cursing, insulting and "preaching" a bunch of people that makes Au Revoir grow hate toward them. The most furious track with a good arrangement! Oh, i imagine that i kill someone! I wish i could direct a music videoclip for this track!

"Never A Good Man" is very cocky, arrogant song. Yeah. Just listen to it.

"Buried And Forgotten" are Hellhammer cover. Au Revoir's tribute to the band especially the track (later known as Necromantical Scream in Celtic Frost)

Overall, GREAT ALBUM! You should buy it. I really recommend this album. If you dare to play with insanity! Hahaha!
