SEPTICFLESH "TITAN"
Septicflesh are among the titans in Greece after Rotting Christ, Varathorn, Necromantia and few names. First time i encounter with Septicflesh when i buy their "Revolution D.N.A" and i dont like it. Thats the truth, you dont need to argue about that because its MY TASTE and if you think my taste sucks, FUCK YOU! Hahaha.
Ok, blasphemers. This album actually brings their "SUMERIAN DAEMON", "COMMUNION" and "THE GREAT MASS" kind of feels. Yes, orchestral! Seriously, i'm still hunting their previous album especially "Communion" and "The Great Mass". Fuck yeah! Yeah i know, i hear it from youtube and buy it. When this CD arrived at my house, i am the most happy person on this planet! Because i know, this CD is a mountain of GREATNESS!
"Titan" CD
Their 1st track, "War In Heaven" are heavy and depressive. You cant headbanging with that kind of track. Its deep, muddy and of course: Harsh! Its have no differences with their previous album, still dealing with the same orchestra, studios and cover artwork. 2nd track, "Burn" are fast, aggressive and brutal. I love it! "Order of Dracul" are some insane track thats ripping my ears. I love "Asphyx" kind of feelings at the intros of the track, and so massive explosion after that! Well, if i talk about all the track, it would be kind of boring for you to read. So, to put it in simple word, the aggressiveness of Death Metal blends well with the symphony. Who thought symphony that "smooth" would fit with this kind of brutal genre? Every track gives me a goosebumps. The clean vocal are perfectly fit-in on few track. With choirs, this horror theater makes me feels that this album at its peak, inspiring me to explore more of this kind of genres. I LOVE SEPTICFLESH!!! Lyric-wise, it tells us lots of philosophic themes. I need to "digest" and "dissect" more every track, every word, every tune. Its so deep, with lots of meaning. The meaning of life. How ironic, "DEATH METAL" talks about LIFE huh? Well, "Death" known "Life" better. Hahaha!
"The Titan Symphony" CD
Now my legions of blasphemer, this CD is one of the reason why i grab this Digipack format. An orchestra: the offering to the Titans. The Mighty Titans, The Immortal Titans, The Dogmatic Titans, The Titan Burn by The Eternal Fire - PROMETHEUS! From my close-up listening to this CD, its actually a symphony-layer in every track in "Titan" album. This was recorded at Smecky Studio (Prague/Czech Republic) by Filmharmonic Orchestra Prague. And also, that choir was the children choir. Please check this "The Making Of Titan" so you may understand.
